The 277V version of AB0302A is a 120V powered device that can control 277V loads. It is an A/C Dimmed, Switched HOT / Dimmed HOT ballast driver can be operated with a DMX-512 console, but is also compatible with Lightronics Unity Architectural Lighting Control. This Architectural Lighting wall station controllable ballast allows simple “one-button lighting control” and is ideal for staff in churches and other houses of worship, schools, corporate spaces, performance stages, and other event venues. Programmable up to 64 preset lighting scenes, it allows 7,200 watts across 3 channels, with up to 2,400 watts per channel for reliable daily operation. Designed for use with dimmable fluorescent and LED fixtures, it also supports other 120V devices requiring switched hot feed control where a dimmed A/C signal is not needed.

The Lightronics AB0302A-277V is an A/C dimmed, switched HOT / dimmed HOT ballast driver designed for DMX-512 operation and for integration into Lightronics Unity Architectural Lighting Control systems. Powered by 120VAC device power, it controls 277V lighting loads, making it suitable for higher-voltage applications commonly found in commercial lighting systems. Installed between the control system and lighting loads, it provides centralized control through Unity Architectural remote stations, DMX-512 control input, or contact closures.
Key Features
• 3 control channels, 2,400W per channel (7,200W total)
• Controls 277V lighting loads with 120VAC device power
• A/C dimmed output with switched HOT feed capability
• Compatible with Unity Architectural Lighting Control systems
• Supports Unity Architectural remote station control
• Supports DMX-512 control input
• Programmable for up to 64 preset lighting scenes
• Softpatch capability for flexible channel assignment
• Contact closure inputs for external control integration
• Nonvolatile memory retains scenes when powered down
Users can quickly recall preset lighting scenes while maintaining simple control through Unity Architectural wall stations or DMX-512 input. This allows consistent, repeatable lighting operation in environments where ease of use is essential. In addition, the ability to control 277V loads while operating from a 120VAC power source makes the unit well suited for installations requiring higher-voltage lighting circuits.
Integration into existing lighting systems is straightforward. The AB0302A-277V supports Unity Architectural remote stations for simple preset scene control, while DMX-512 allows connection to broader lighting control systems. Softpatching simplifies system setup and addressing, and contact closure inputs expand control options for automated or external triggering. As a result, the unit works well in both new installations and retrofit applications where 277V lighting control is required.
Designed for dependable, long-term operation, the AB0302A-277V delivers consistent performance in architectural lighting environments. Its durable construction and ability to manage higher-voltage loads make it a practical solution for facilities requiring reliable, flexible lighting control.
